In Tuscany (Viareggio and Marina di Carrara) one week dedicated to refit, after sales operations, for a non-conventional way to do business.

From 29 to 31 January, Tuscany will be present at the exhibition Nano Tech 2014 in Tokyo.

“Two apparently very different projects yet actually inspired by the same goal: to increase and improve knowledge,” was the comment of Stella Targetti, Vice President of the Tuscany Region with portfolio for education and research, on the conference held at the Aula Magna of the University of Florence Rectorate on the morning of Friday 17 January.

Excellent in energy savings, a reference point for sustainable tourism, optimal for the environmental quality of its products, Tuscany is among Italy’s most advanced regions from a green economy perspective.

The axis created by the airports of Pisa and Florence is of “national strategic interest”, and it will therefore be a reference infrastructure onto which concentrate investments and development projects in upcoming years.

There is a small municipality, consisting of 1,200 inhabitants, in the future of Europe’s renewable energies.
