As reported by ilcuoioindiretta.it, a new life for the historic Villa di Petriolo, on the hills of Cerreto Guidi. After a few years of disuse, the Renaissance jewel Villa is ready to host the renovation work that by the end of 2019 will make it a luxury resort and an organic farm. This is, in fact, the future imagined by the new owners who, in the last auction, won the villa and its maxi estate (160 hectares) with an investment of 1,7 million euros. The operation was led by a company formed by a Mexican group operating in the fashion sector, Hector Cuadra in collaboration with Daniele Nannetti, a Tuscan entrepreneur in the hotel sector.
At the end of the works, signed by the Architect Marco Giglioli, Petriolo will host 49 rooms (12 of which in a separate annex), two restaurants open to all guests, a shop for the products of the estate, two wineries and a spa, along with a tastings area and a large outdoor space for events and shows.
